Success on The Plan


The best part about my job is getting to work closely with so many different people and watching them completely transform as they get closer to reaching their health goals. I am SO PROUD of Holly – she put in the work and is now reaping the benefits!

“I came to Sara overweight, with high blood pressure, cholesterol, type 2 diabetes, and taking antacids to control stomach flare-ups along with Claritin to control chronic allergy symptoms. Pills, pills, pills morning and night! I knew I needed help, but was apprehensive to try The Plan because of the large amount of salad and vegetables that were staples of the menu – I had been severely limiting those food items over the years after developing IBS – and I didn’t see how that was going to change. But, my daughter raved about working with Sara, and I could see great results in her life, so I thought I’d give it a shot. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made! 

Learning to identify “safe” foods and avoid the “reactive” foods, along with a reasonable exercise regime, has made dramatic changes in my life. After 2 months, I have lost 20 lbs, completely dropped the Claritin and Antacid meds, cut my blood pressure medicine by two-thirds, and will be cutting my other medicine in half or completely soon as my last blood tests came back with everything in the “normal” range! I’m gaining strength with every workout and have even started hitting the trails again into our mountains! Best of all, I am eating salads and vegetables again with NO problems! I’m continuing to lose weight and, for the first time in a long while, I’m sure I can reach my goals and stay healthy – no more yo-yo lifestyle for me.

Sara has been wonderful to work with. Her supportive and positive energy has kept me motivated, and her careful reviews and suggestions have helped me learn how to plan my meals so that I can continue to live a healthy lifestyle. Each day is a little easier, each month the new routine is becoming more comfortable.
